I had an idea in my head of what this would look like, but I don't quite have the talent to put on paper exactly what I see in my head. But, I still like it. I was going for more a heartbreaking thing, but it sort of turned into something else. I'm still not great at this whole shading business.

I used watercolor paint, acrylic paint, and charcoal for the bugs. I've never used watercolor before but I really like it, so think I'll probably be using it a lot more. I like how you can make it not super precise but it still creates the idea of what you want. I don't think I should have used charcoal, but whatever. You learn. 

Wings

Cainen said this was his favorite but the head was too small. I told him it was a skull, so it's going to be a little smaller. He said still, it's too small. Geez! Everybody's a critic. :)
