Rape face

This girl is drawn from words. I wrote about my experience being abused by my father to make all of the features, which is why I'm calling her Rape Face. This was my first attempt at doing it so I didn't plan anything out at all, just sort of it did it on the fly. I might do more of them, and plan out the writing more. It seems you would need to do it in pencil so you can make it darker for certain spots and then very light writing for lighter shading. It's not super proportional but it was my first attempt.

It's like I have the experience of being raped written all over my face.

Baila!

I saw this bumper sticker and got inspired to draw these figures in elongated type shapes. This one I was experimenting with what might look the best, so each girl is different. I realized it looked like they were dancing.

Long-Stem

This represents the splitting that occurs when you're being assaulted. You try to break yourself off to somehow get away from the experience, but can't. You're still stuck there.

I love trees and fall colors so why not blend the splitting of Dissociative Identity Disorder with my love of tress, branches, and Fall colors.

This to me represents the helpfulness of splitting. She breaks apart to go "help" the youngest girl. Sort of like she's being rescued.
