Veiled

I did the wood burning and sketched it. To me, it's a separation between the mind and body, which is how I feel. A disconnect. Noise. I'm not a face or a person, but brain activity. And the brain activity is all consuming. 

Doing all those vein/tentacle things took forever! 

Halfway there. 

Almost finished, without the veil fabric over the eyes. It looks a little more dry too without the glue finish. 

I cover it with this glue finish and gross my fingers every time that it comes out okay. 

This is probably the closest I've come to a self-portrait. This is my favorite wood art so far .
